These sessions were born from my own journey after becoming a mum. I craved a space where I could show up in all my messy, exhausted glory and feel welcomed and cared for. I also wanted to remember who I was when not a mum. That’s exactly what I wanted to offer other women, because we all deserve a place like this! What originally started as a class for mums, these sessions now welcome all women, mothers, grandmothers, daughters and sisters. Anyone who is looking for a space of support and who wants to do something to support themselves is more than welcome.
This is your space to unwind and just be. Whether you’re feeling frazzled, drained, or covered in oatmeal, you’re warmly invited to join our women’s circle—a gathering for women of all ages. Each session begins with a “soft start”, time in which to check-in and chat or just to arrive early and decompress from the events of the day and relax on your mat.
Our hour long yoga session then begins. We move into gentle, soothing movements—often floor-based—to stretch, release tension, and melt away the day’s stresses. These restorative practices are designed to nurture your body and soul, helping to restore balance, boost vitality, and leave you feeling rejuvenated.
We focus on bringing awareness and strength to the pelvic floor and core muscles, opening the chest and shoulders, relaxing the whole body and reminding ourselves to tend to ourselves as people, not only as caregivers. Each session ends with a yogic relaxation practice (known as yoga nidra or yogic sleep). We finish the hour with a few minutes left for that last cuppa and/or treat!
You’ll enjoy deep relaxation, leaving you refreshed and recharged. It's a class that not only strengthens your body but uplifts your spirit and helps you reconnect with your own joy.
Whether you’re new to yoga or have been on this journey for years, this is your time to slow down, recharge, and connect with other amazing women.
