New Year, New Intentions.
This workshop is all about connecting you with your sankalpa — your heartfelt intention — and recognising how it aligns with your year ahead. Through a combination of gentle yoga practices, somatics, guided meditations and reflective journalling, you’ll be supported to listen inward, connect to a meaningful intention, and take it with you off of the mat and into daily life. Suitable for all levels, the session offers a calm space to pause and to gently explore your inner world with kindness and curiosity. By the end of the workshop you’ll feel grounded, focused and purposeful, better able to hold your sankalpa with clarity as you move through the rest of the year. Bring a journal and an open heart.
Each session will be unique but all will include some of the following:
Gentle, yet powerful somatic practices to balance the nervous system and hatha yoga practices inspired by the season, with plenty of opportunities to modify and rest.
Focused hatha flows including poses to strengthen and tone.
Soothing shapes to release into and unwind.
Self-Massage techniques to release tension and improve circulation.
Guided Meditation &Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) for active relaxation and deep rest.
